In this new landscape, monoliths have generated a duet, coercing our human body, from the early developmental stages through to the final stages of loss. Their song alludes to a symbiosis - one that thrusts us into the space between internal and external worlds; a transitional space which the objects inhabit.
Amidst the loss of separation, we are compelled into awareness of the embodied experience. In this moment when the Sun stands still, we traverse the developmental stages which constitute the rite of human existence. As the Sun continues its cyclical journey, so the Ritual might begin again, borne from a different object.
What if we do not navigate this developmental stage, but rather, get caught in the space between?

Sound by ‘Wyrd Lodge’ by @solbaileybarker : Drawing on the sound of rhythmic heavy machinery, deep space, biodiverse landscapes and sonic sculptures as ritual instruments. Meditating on non-human intelligence, ancient beginnings and distant futures.
