Karolina Stellaki Greek , b. 1991

Stellaki’s practice investigates structures for a possible disappearance of conventional systems of understanding of language and sound. Using 360° virtual environments, video and sculpture, her work attempts to generate experiences that question politics of the world.

The main body of work stems around questioning knowing and perceiving the world through the senses; in this way, she implements transitory narratives that are explored not only but also through touch, experience and materiality. In her practice, a very intuitive process is born, where she often physicalise the ungraspable forms of speech and hearing as an attempt to confront our perception on interpretation, translation and communication.
